When your heart and soul speak to you, at first it's just a wisper. Ignore this wisper for too long and your body will shout at you.
A Little Insight to Get Started
I for one believe it to be true what one says: “the skin is the mirror of your soul.” My skin reacts almost instantly to insomnia, mental stress and worries! It can be as little as dry and wrinkle looking skin after a few days with little or bad quality sleep. Or a pimple that forms quite literally while I am contemplating a big job offer. The latter just happened recently where I was very interested in the project, but knew the guy in charge will be difficult and didn’t seem very open in general.
So, while talking to the guy, I felt a tingling sensation right around my mouth and chin area and remember thinking “Wow, that’s intense. What’s happening there?”. Now, I find myself in the dilemma of loving the job project but knowing, with this guy in charge, it’s gonna end in a disaster. By that time, my heart already knew (and my body too, it showed me very clearly) that no matter the amount of money paid, no matter how cool the idea is, in this constellation it will only end in frustration.
So, while my mind was still trying to convince me using this outdated believe system, I learnt growing up, stuff like: “The job doesn’t need to be fun, in fact if it’s fun working, it’s not a real job, or you’re not working hard enough”. And shit like that.

End of story was, both parties realised it’s not a match. I got away with a very painful pimple and everyone moved on. And what a great decision that was!
This being a very small imbalance of my heart and soul, my skin immediately communicated it very clearly to me.
Now, Imagine a Really Big Issue
Worries, pain, fear you’ve maybe been carrying for a long time. Your body probably gave you more than one hint, but the fact of the matter is, we are just not tuned in anymore.
In some cases, it shows as Neurodermatitis. And let me tell you, I feel for you if you live with this skin condition!
Let’s take a look at what’s actually going on and why creams and ointments can only ease and sooth the pain and skin condition. And why it cannot heal the source directly.
Reminder:
My skincare is designed to cure the source of the skin’s imbalance.
Neurodermatitis is not a skin imbalance, it’s an imbalance of the soul or heart. Hence, addressing the skin in order to cure neurodermatitis makes no sense.
Neurodermatitis shows as symptom here, it’s not the root cause for this imbalance.
When your skin almost dissolves and you want to tear it off because of the itchiness and pain. When every touch feels like torture, and you scratch your skin bloody, the most basic needs like sleeping or thinking straight becomes imposible. And then there is the guilt, because you couldn’t resist scratching again.
Neurodermatitis is an asshole!
I don't have it myself, but my partner has it really severely. Let's get one thing straight: Can I cure neurodermatitis with my products? No, I can't!
But you can!
The bad news:
When you're sleep-deprived and in pain, you can hardly think straight. In that state, no one can expect you to find a solution immediately.
This makes it even more frustrating because you just want it to go away, so your skin can heal. And the anger towards the issue and yourself only makes it worse. And so the dark cycle begins.
Here's How I Can Help:
1) When an outburst happens and your skin is open and itchy, try to avoid all chemical and synthetic products. Your protective barrier isn’t intact, and all the harmful substances from the products and from your outside environment can directly enter your organism and cause more damage (and you don’t need more stress!).
2) I made an extra gentle and nourishing soap for my partner during these times, very simple, no perfume, no essential oils, just a soap for gentle cleaning.

3) Always use natural products to ease the itching and pain, and help to restore your skin. In our case, black seed oil helped a lot, but it wasn’t "rich" enough for the really bad skin patches. For these very painful skin patches, my Holistic Moisturiser provided relief.
We’ve tried everything, and at the end of the day, these products can provide relief and prevent harmful substances from entering your body, and protect your organism in that sense. But - and this is important:
For long-term healing of neurodermatitis and similar conditions, you need to find and heal the root cause instead of just fighting the symptoms!
It is very important that you understand this difference!
I know, telling you lies and selling you the “magic pill” would make me rich overnight.
But I would become rich by stealing from you, in the worst possible way—By abusing your pain you endured for way too long, while being well aware I’m selling you a lie!
Instead, I will be honest with you. This will give you the best chance of healing in the long run!
The most important lesson I've learnt through painful bodily symptoms is:
Understanding this doesn't ease the pain or the symptom but it definitely helped me to deal with what's going on, in a way healthier and sane way. And to truly understand what my body is doing in these moments and how hart it's trying to keep me healthy, makes me feel grateful. And reacting to this with gratitud rather than self-hate and frustration was a total game-changer, when I was at a breaking point.
Other Skin Imbalances Explained
Dry And Itchy Skin:
Dry and itchy skin can occur when your protective skin barrier is damaged, often due to using the wrong skincare products. This weakened barrier allows moisture and lipids to escape while letting in bacteria, microplastics, and other harsh ingredients and pollutants.
To address this issue, it’s crucial to focus on restoring your protective barrier. By using my cleansing and skincare products, you can achieve and maintain a healthy, strong barrier that has long-lasting effects. Once your protective skin barrier is intact, it can better take care of itself.
I always recommend looking at the "whole picture", because healthy skincare is just one piece of the puzzle.
